Cannoli are Italian pastries consisting of tube-shaped shells of fried pastry dough, filled with a sweet, creamy filling – a staple of Sicilian cuisine. Chef has brought the famous Italian cannoli dessert, with a delicious raspberry filling, to Pizza Baracca!
Each cannoli is handmade by Chef using a traditional recipe and more flavours are on their way soon. There is one cannoli per serving.
Traditional cannoli originated in the Sicilian city of Palermo. It is believed that the cannoli’s filling originated with the Saracens, an ancient Arabic peoples, when they brought sugar cane to region.
Ingredients: Shell: Plain Flour; Egg; Cocoa Powder; Salt; Icing Sugar; Lard; White Vinegar; Sicilian Marsala Wine; Vegetable Oil.
Filling: Raspberry; Ricotta; Mascarpone; Icing Sugar.
